The credit rating agency Fitch Ratings affirmed Finland’s long-term issuer default rating at AA+ on 3 August 2018. At the same time, Fitch revised the outlook on the rating to positive from stable.
The last time Fitch changed the outlook on Finland’s rating was in March 2016. At that time, Fitch lowered Finland’s credit rating from the highest AAA rating to AA+ and revised the outlook to stable from negative.
