Fitch Ratings published rating report on Finland  (2016-08-08)

The credit rating agency Fitch Ratings published a rating report on Finland on 4 August. The State Treasury will post the report on its website at www.treasuryfinland.fi/credit_ratings.

On 22 July, Fitch affirmed Finland’s long-term local currency rating at AA+ with a stable outlook. In addition, Fitch affirmed the short-term foreign currency rating at F1+ and assigned a new short-term local currency rating of F1+.

Fitch reviewed its sovereign ratings in July after changes in its sovereign rating criteria on 18 July. Long-term foreign currency ratings were not included in the scope of the review.

The next pre-announced date set by Fitch for the update of Finland’s credit rating is 2 September 2016.
