Moody’s downgrades Finland’s credit rating to Aa1  (2016-06-03)

On 3 June 2016, the credit rating agency Moody’s Investors Service downgraded Finland’s long-term issuer rating to Aa1 from Aaa. The outlook was changed to stable from negative.

According to Moody’s, the key drivers for the downgrade are the economic challenges facing the Finnish economy and the weak growth as well as the deterioration in Finland’s fiscal position.
